Restoration Works

Here is a page to show some of the work that is going on with the fleet and what's going on behind the scenes. Most information on this subject can be found on our Facebook Page. However as and when we can we try to update here.

34226L getting some attention to her broken bettery Crate. getting the old Pivot pin out proved to be a hard Job. new pin crate and lid have all arrived more photos and updates will appear as and when. Most of our posts will appear on Facebook.

Some of the Restoration works that have been Carried out on 34244 include a

full interior Retrim and Bulkheads resprayed and tidied up. with the interior looking much better it was the turn for the outside bits to be done. All new Skirt Panels are in once the rest of the chassis is coated these panels can be re fitted. The Rear end has had a few shunts and is being Straightened out a bit better too. The wiring to the Rear lights was Brittle and turning Green so the Wiring looms have been taken away to be Repaired by our Good Friends at DK Electrics.

Removal of the old Lock fitted to the emergency exit of London united DP88

Dennis Trident TA1 had her Anti Roll bar bushes changed to counter out the knocking sound from underneath the bus. was noted on inspection that there was very slight play in the draglink, so a new part was ordered and replaced. a quick Diff oil change too and inspection before heading back to have a quiet evening and a few Birthday Bevvies.
