Photos Submission

Here is a page to share photos that have been sent in by enthusiasts of our buses whether that's  photos from service days  or photos from some of the many Events that we attend with our Vehicles in Preservation.

Photos are from the Romford Depot Open Day where we attended with Dennis Dart 34366 and Dennis Trident TA1 


Here are two stunning  photos that have been sent in to us of both of our attendees departing North Street Bus Garage Open Day in Romford East London. We had such an amazing day out there and to top it all off Stagecoach managed to raise a whopping £18,000  for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Here are a few photos that were sent in to us from Sunday 16th July 2022 when we took part in the Low-ish floor Running Day organized by the North London Collection.

  • Photo taken in Westerham © David Ghuir and  was taken prior to the event started and prior to me getting fuel at the petrol station just a few 100 meters up the road.

 

 

Here are a couple of photos that have been sent to us from Sunday 3rd September when we attended the Bus Rally Day at New Romney on behalf of The Romney Hythe  & Dymchurch Railway. This time we resurrected Dennis Dart 1632 SN06 BRF to attend this event as it had PASSED its MOT the day before we thought it best to give her legs a stretch. 

The  first 3 Photos are ©Alisha first one is at the end of the day alongside the locomotive on display. Second one is an aerial shot from the Old Lighthouse with a train in the background at Dungeness with the third one being taken at the petrol station on the way back from the event. 

The last two photos in the album are from the top of the Old Lighthouse at Dungeness too and what lovely Photos they are. Photos are from ©Richard Jones and show both ours and his buses 1632 and DT16. 

On Saturday 23rd September was Metrobus' 40th Anniversary and as it is a place of work for many of us we was there with a couple of darts. Sadly 231 and LDP192 weren't ready for this they sat it out. Initially it was going to just be MB253 that appeared as a static exhibit, However they was a little short on buses to run services so out came 1632 running on Route 357 between Green Street Green and Forestdale. 

The first two photos have been sent in to us, they are of both 1632 and 253 whilst static at the event. 1632 was parked here after finishing shuttles for the day and can be seen displaying Route 162 to Eltham Station. ©Tony Ashcroft
