Plaxton Pointer Dart DP88 V788 FKH

New to Transdev London  in October 1999 to London United for their Shepherds Bush Garage for route 49.  DP88 had a varied Life Transferring from garage to garage serving Stamford Brook, Hounslow and Hounslow Heath Depots before going to Tolworth and Park Royal. when finished with DP88 Survived as a PSV being used to Teach new Apprentices how to do PSV  Engineering. A chance Photo appearing in my inbox of this vehicle in the State she was in. a Quick email to the college and a date was set to view it. what a day that was. all the staff came out to see what we was doing and to say they don't think it would run after over 10 years sitting in the same spot. well they hadn't met us. determination and lots of knowledge of these Darts was able to quickly diagnose the starting fault to 2 things both sorted and she fired up and built her air up for the first time. The only reason we didn't drive her home is ULEZ  and the Fact the bus was an unknown entity and hasn't moved in years. would be a recipe for Disaster.
